If you can own the pair for any matching .co.uk then absolutely you should. In regards to whether I think the domain itself has any value then no I don't think it does.

I would personally steer clear of domain names containing "olympics" as they are an organisation who actively police their IP.

I agree. I put in a drop-catch order in 2011 and never returned to the site to delete it. I've moved on from domains so it's of little interest to even myself
