Hi

Does anyone have any contact with them? do they sell?

Any help would be great,

DB

True, it is Frank Schilling, but actually BVI do now sell domains, or at least they are taking offers on them. They started to offer domains for sale via an "express an interest in buying" pro forma through proformainc.com about a month ago. Read up on it at Mike Cohen's Wanna Develop Blog Frank Schilling and Kevin Ham Domains Available For Sale

If you want someone who works with Frank try @TiaWood on Twitter or at Domain Development - TiaWood.com - as she is one of the designer / developers he uses and she's into that whole Twitter domainer gang. Frank himself is @FrankSchilling, and after a long break he has been Tweeting again in the last few weeks.

Hope it helps, but drop me an email / pm if you need more info.

Best of luck!

Ty

Hey, your info's more up to date than mine. Learn something new every day!

They do sell but according to their FAQ, the minimum offer for any name is $10,000 USD. Depends how much you want the name I guess.

He lives in the Caymans - Tax haven. So that will give you an idea on how much he needs your money or offers.

my point is normally people make more mistakes when starting out and based on what i've seen bought .uk wise in the last few years would lead me to assume he's not actually personally buying every single name...?

whats comforting is that he buys and invests in utter shite sometimes (like most of us do at some point).

Nothing comforting about that, in that it doesn't make anyone else's junk less junky.

When your portfolio earns you $20 million a year (see articles above) you can afford to make "mistakes" that people with regular-sized wallets can't. In other words, you have much more room for error and still do very well. In fact, it's less surprising that he has some junk names than it is that people with a few hundred names have junk names - he can afford them, they probably can't.
