Just thought id bring this site to everyone. used it years ago when i was convinced i have a system ( i do you know ;) )

Very informative, covers every angle.

Any good script coders out there that can write code to crunch lottery results in a certain way?

numbers

7-8-9-10-11-12 week 2
1-2-3-4-5-6 week 1

In week 1 when #1 was drawn 7-8-9-10-11-12 was drawn the following week and this i would want logging in to a DB that when #1 was drawn these numbers came out the next week. The same with numbers 2-3-4-5-6. and so on for every other week.

So the point is when number say 34 comes out one week. Looking a the DB Number 19 came out more times than other the following week.

(i know it's all random) But just some thing i wanted.

I did do it on paper at one point :(

Statistically you are much better forgetting any 'system' like that, and putting as much cash as you can on a single draw instead.

So, say it was a 1 in 1,000,000 chance (I know this is wrong, but makes it easier!)

52 weeks @ £1 gives you 52 lots of 1 in 1 million chances

1 week @ £52 give you 1 lot of 52 in 1 million chance which is approx a 1 in 19,230 chance.

So, for example, if 100 people on Acorn each put £100 towards it for 1 draw, odds on getting the jackpot (still based on the 1 in 1 million) go to 1 in 100

I know its all random and the results shown in the script results would only give me data not defo numbers to pick.

you'd be able to shave off a lot off numbers using number reduction i.e.

what are the chances of numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6 coming up in the next draw likewise 7,8,9,10,11,12 and 13,14,15,16,17,18 and so on.

and doubles ,triples etc i.e 2,4,6,8,10,12 etc

I know what you mean, but it has the same chance of coming out.

It just doesn't look right to us :) But yes we could shave a lot of combos off.

So no takers to do the script for me. :(

hot

or you could use the same 6 numbers since 1995 every draw until you win... again

there are no systems for any method of increasing your "winning" odds in the uk lottery... that is why other countries and some us states are thinking about adopting the format... less winners, more profit!

however, as stated by fred, who is 100% right, you can increase the amounts won, not the chances of winning, by overplay... simple term, random sydicates with big line choice... or you could PM us for a simple, more fun increase your winnings way to have a better chance of a win :-D

... less winners, more profit!

Actually, there is a fixed percentage of sales which is profit, the rest either goes to winners or 'good causes'

however, as stated by fred, who is 100% right, you can increase the amounts won, not the chances of winning, ...

You CAN increase the chances of winning, as I said, buy 2 tickets for the same draw and you double your chance of winning. Buy every combination and you are guarenteed to win the jackpot (not guarenteed to make a profit though!)
