well some they do & some they don't ... better to ask ed in the ND forum..drizzt said:Stevie, care to share this with us?
Does Google index the page?
i'm not suggesting that it helps that.. the point was that the page gets indexed..admin said:eoffer.co.uk does come top, but displaying "This IP has been banned" which wouldn't make me inclined to click on it.

if i type eoffer uk in google (not eoffer.co.uk) it shows the domain with the meta content as the description.. (which is the related searches on the eoffer.co.uk page)

yeah MSN seem really fussy about parked pages.. (except sedo's) this was an undeveloped domain texi .. the thread was explaining that I was happy with google indexing on ND pages.. that was until several sources revealed the "ip banned" description.. what ISP are you with??texidriver said:MSN search and Yahoo have never heard of eoffer.co.uk !
on Google
I see:
This IP has been banned
This IP has been banned.
www.eoffer.co.uk/ - 1k
haven't we asked this of ND already?

there must be conflicting results from certain google servers.. looks like they are showing results based on the ip of the searcher (how scary that region specific results can be so different)
The IP Banned is a result of ND scripts banning certain google bots.. "when a bot visits an ND parked page.. the ND parking script thinks the bot is some traffic bot or click fraud bot etc.. (usually because its the same ip visiting over and over again) so the google bot reports the responding page... which would be "IP Banned" once the site is reindexed with new content there would be no problems...Lucky Luke said:So what happens when we then decide to develop a domain that was parked with ND and the IP banned by Google .... how long does the domain get tarnished with the IP ban?
Thanks, Luke

however i thought this was resolved.. ed...?
it maybe something in a script that has rules about same ip address revisiting so many times a day.. however if thats the case they should be putting the bot addresses in an allow file or something.. it would be interesting to know what the script rules are for ip banning.. is 5 visits a day from the same person enough to ban an ip...?? who knows..apd said:I would have thought a parking site like ND would want to have their parking pages indexed.
