Wanted: Domain Appraisal Need appraisal help

Hi All,

I have a domain name that I am using www.beautybrands.co.uk however a number of people have approached me to sell it over the past few months. Until recently I have declined however I am now considering it.

Can anyone advise a value for this domain name. Also are the free appraisal sites like this one: http://www.swiftappraisal.com/step1.php are any use or if even the paid ones are worth it. If they are does anyone know a UK appraisal service to value .co.uk domains?

Appraisal sites are often iffy, either are cons or just dont evaluate a name with the indepthness needed.

As for the domain , I would not say the value is vast, but wouldnt be suprised to see it listed as sold somewhere for ~£500 , specific end users possibly more.

The name obviously has more value to you due to it being your company name.

If you are not needing to sell I would say sit tight

Hi,

Would help to have an idea of the offers you are getting, but on the info given I'd say hold on unless you get a substantial offer. Concentrate on building a client base and the value of any future sale will only go up.

I'd say it's worth a few hundred squid (low hundreds at best) to a domain reseller.

To the right end user though it may be worth over £1k...

Depending on how big/profitable your current business is, it may actually be worth more to you to keep it.
