As it appears nominet *do* come here and read threads I have a request.
If a domain is not going to drop in the correct cycle because somebody has issued a renewal with no credit or for any other reason, could you mark a domain as suspended but 'will not become available'.
It is annoying and pointless chasing these domains when nominet must already know in advance that they're not going to become available. I know it doesn't aid the major registrars (hence nothing has already happened) but it would be useful to the hundreds who still use your service for dropcatching.
Could you use some of the millions of surplus, membership fees, and raised registration costs to perhaps display better information for a drop cycle that you created?
