Hello Acorn,

We've finally launched the new version of our UK website at www.webhostingbuzz.co.uk.

I like the direction the site has become and the depth we've added to it. But we're sat on the service provider side of the fence... which means I'm really keen to get some opinions/feedback/ideas from anyone on here who could spend a few minutes reviewing the site?

Thanks in advance

Matt

I am a front-end developer by day, so from my perspective;

Aesthetically, I like it.

With regards to UX, I have gripes against links that are clickable, but don't look it. I don't mean that links should have an underline, but there should be a consistency of icons or even just colour of links throughout the site that improve usablity for users.

I tend to hover over almost everything of the page to see what I can click, and some of the items I clicked, I was surprised weren't taking me to pages of more info.

It would be interesting to get something like crazyegg on the site, to see a heat map of how people are interacting with the page(s) - particularly the home page.

Why no pay monthly plans? That will lose you custom I should think

It would make more sense to me if you were called Buzz Web Hosting, as that says web hosting company, rather than Web Hosting Buzz, which sounds like a web hosting review site.

Top left you have a logo of yellow, orange and red squares. This is a very generic logo and does nothing for brand recognition. Using a bee as your logo would be better.

Very useful using it from my mobile yesterday (as a mobile responsive site) to access the live chat system ref. a server issue I had.

Change the colour of your tick bullet points to make them stand out.

Surely you would only want them to stand out if they were all associated with important CTA's?

Otherwise you are adding to many top level items of visual hierarchy?

I just think it will lift the design if they stand out from the background.
