I guess he means that if you have adsense down the right side of your site, then google users will be more inclined to click em as they are used to it at google

Oh right, i'll look into this.

If you think anymore about your plumbing project let me know and i'll look at my script a bit more to see if it can be adapted.

It allows me to regenerate those 11000 pages in 30 seconds, say if i wanted to add a affiliate link to those pages, or someone wanted to pay me for site wide advertising etc.

The only slight problem i've got now is trying to get all the pages indexed, i need to have a static link to each page, i've just started add link pages to my sitemap.

Here's the first one, only another 120+ to go!

Cheers...what script are you using? Did you buy the list of businesses?

It's a shame you don't use a content management system as you could use an automatic sitemap generator!

The script i'm using is custom made (cost me $25.00!), yes i purchased the database quite cheaply too but some of the details are missing etc, but its a great base to work with.

The problem is for SEO purposes i dont want more than 100 links on each page, i've tried to get a script made up to do this for me but not having much luck, i've got a huge file with all the links its just a boring cut and paste job now.

I've got a piece of software that will generate a Google site map for me.

Isn't there a sitemap generator that sets the max links per page? I don't know myself... i would have thought it would scan all the pages on a domain and assemble a sitemap over a set number of pages or A-Z.

I've created all the links pages now.

The site is pretty much finished now, i just need to fix a few niggling design faults and i'm done, then just need to wait for the search engines to do their thing.

Another plus, i had my first (uninvited) members on my forum today! Only one has made a post so far though.

oh and a bit of spider feed for the search engines:

Yeah i know, but i want decent quality knowledgable posts.

I've chosen a pretty niche market, i think i need to expand the forum slightly with a few more categories etc.

Had another poster yesterday from Google.
