Nominet and escrow

Just had a potential buyer come off the phone to Nominet believing that they offer an escrow service for £12.

It's not easy to convince him otherwise, but it did get me thinking how useful it would be if Nominet DID offer an escrow service. They have ultimate control over all UK domains so would be in the ideal position!

I think Nominet actually do escrow but it is (whois) data escrow...

Not for £12 and not as part of a normal transfer ;-)
