Lets face it, a change of head at Nominet IS relevant / helpful to this forum. People going OT is not. Job for the mods rather than remove a thread I think.

I agree I could have moderated it to leave the 3 or 4 worthwhile posts out of 50 or so there but I do work full time. Maybe those who seem to have plenty of spare time to criticise should volunteer?

Does VB not have a 'select all' option for post replies? Then just uncheck the ones being kept (all on one page). Quicker and easier?
Not having a pop at you, or any other mod. Just saying as an idea as its on topic to this thread.
