seriously though, has anyone been to these events and what are they like..

I went to one of the Nominet Member lunches in 2004 - it was very good actually. A good chance to meet the team (including Leslie and Jay) and to talk to other members.

Also a good opportunity to make sure that senior management are aware of your views and to debate them with other members. There was a very wide spread of people there.

They had some more lunches in 2005 but I couldn't make the nearest one.

I hope for more this year...

Never been to one of the tagholder workshops, but might do if there was one nearby.
