I am a registrar for my own domain names. Last week I got an email about them conducting a review. Just wondered what prompted them to do this.

It is standard. They do it periodically to check contact details are correct and links are in place to terms/conditions/policies etc where applicable. They should tell people this in the email but they never do so people worry.

If I remember correctly they have to do this every 12 months for each registrar.
You should have received an email explaining this.
But there should be nothing to worry about

It's just another corporate process drempt up to keep the jobsworths in their overpaid jobs.

It's like any other audit, as long as you have all the relevant information required by your registrar level, it's just a formality and nothing to concern yourself with. They actually audit me twice as I have 2 TAG's.
