Gents, Anyone know the solution to this scenario, I just bought 1100+ domains from another Acorner, he was transferring them to my tag but has been stopped because the 3rd party limits have been hit.

The problem is Nominets system is not allowing me to add his name as a connected name so I cannot move them into my name. Seems like a problem with their scheme as I wouldnt be hitting the limits if i could add his name and change the details. Anyone come across this?

I guess we could undo the tag change and do a registrant transfer? Or other ideas?

    TIA

I released them all back to his tag and he changed the contact details to mine and sent them back.

Make a deal, he needs publicity, you need capacity. Reminds me off the deals we used to make in night clubs, the local maccys wanted beer, we wanted food, swapsies heh.

Its worth applying for a second tag for stuff like that, a channel partner tag, where you can have different names. A little script to change names and address details and all done :)

What was the error you were receiving when attempting to add him in as a connected name? I've not looked at this for a long time. Is there some validation made by Nominet to ensure connected names added are truely connected?
