Can't get on the site - I'm based in Canada.

appreciate the help but "non uk based help rqd to test country IP ban" :)

Aye but you might unintentionally ban some UK users - IP Address locating is not always very accurate.

A few weeks ago paypal decided I was in Norway and whenever I visited it was in Norwegian and redirected me.

I can't access your site from here in Greece, just so you know. Forbidden.

Scotland is in the UK though

Can't access it here from Czech Rep. Out of interest, why are you banning countries like this? There is a handful of webmasters in this thread alone who can now never link to you...

no one outside of the uk is going to buy a campervan being sold in the uk (or v v rarely). It's an epn site so clicks that originate from the site which don't result in a sale reduces my EPC. A bit of an experiment to test my theory.

Also unlikely re ppl wanting to link!

Why not serve them up a version of the site with ppc ads in place of the Ebay stuff?

If you're actively going to link build to a site then its absolutely vital that its accessible worldwide. If you're just going to build a site then not promote it at all, I guess it won't matter so much...

Frog makes a good point, use the htaccess you currently have to redirect to international site?
