Not automatically parse links in text

Is there a button to press that stops the links being parsed as a default.

It makes e.g. the domains for sale threads unreadable.

or is it just me that gets annoyed with this?

Not sure if you can set it in options as a on/off default but under where you post it does say:


Miscellaneous Options
Show your signature
Automatically parse links in text
Automatically retrieve titles from external links

with tick boxes
