I've noticed an odd issue with traffic and click stats today.

Particularly, noticed that in 'Latest Additions' -- traffic very much reduced together with clicks. Not sure if this affected earnings for previous days.

They've taken latest additions off the home page - maybe that lost exposure counts for lost traffic?

No, it's not related. I had all that traffic and clicks in my stats already, but today everything was reduced... (never saw anything similar happened at Sedo)

Now all of their stats are unavailable... hmm..

Statistics on sedo is down at the mo so can't give exact figures but I have had the same problem.

One of my domains runs like clockwork and has done last 3 months since I brought it.

It usual gets the following uniques:

Mon-Tue 160-200 per day
Wed - Fri 100-140 per day
Sat - sun 50-70 per day

Yesterday (Mon) I got 80 uniques half what I normally get, still maintained the same click through rate which is usually around 30%.

You are definately not the only one to notice.... When did you let Sedo know?

It appears that Sedo haven't updated revenues since about 11.00 am this morning. You can look up stats now but our account has been fixed at the same amount for about 6 hours. Perhaps they're going to do a big update later - certainly hope so. Hopefully Sedo will make a post here to let everyone know the situation.

My take on this.

Earnings this month have been dropping off in comparison to last month. Sedo held a domain seminar in Maastricht at the end of last month. Perhaps the better earnings in September were a form of PR to create positive vibes amongst domainers at Maastricht. Maybe. Now that Maastricht is over perhaps the Sedo 'dial' has been tweaked down a notch or two.

The Sedo stats server(s) have been an issue for a few days now. Last week stats were unavailable for several hours (was it Thursday?), and again today. We were promised that the first problem would not have affected revenue, and I think I agree that it didn't.

I have noticed a couple of other things that have been odd in the last few days but I'll wait to see whether there is a change before discussing them. Perhaps just short term glitches(?).

One question though. Does anyone actually know what percentage of total revenue goes to Sedo and what percentage goes to the account holder? I would like to know this even though I might not like the answer. Is it a fair relationship or an unfair relationship?

What is fair to one person may not be for another......

My take on it, you shouldn't ever have a click at $0

Not knowing what the percentage split is means that a relationship is built on uncertainty. Never that good a foundation.

The uncertainty is what most are happy to sign up for..... IMO it stinks its open to abuse etc etc

I have to agree with Vizzy, that is a tad degrading, when Sedo informs some and not others
