Just wondered what you guys thought.

I did a bike race last sunday. Didn't sign anything about my details being released to 3rd parties. Then today an envelope arrived with a picture of me racing, together with an invoice for £6. I didn't ask for it, nor did a agree for them to sell my details on.

I am right to be mad. Although i'm usually calm about these things, just the tone of the letter pi55ed me off!

Cheers

As I'm sure you're aware, you don't have to pay for unsolicited goods sent to you through the post. In fact, I believe you are probably allowed to keep them - check the Trading Standards website for details.

It is annoying. I try to give out my details as little as possible for precisely this reason. I hate throwing junk mail in the bin - it's so wasteful. I used to be an eco-warrier back in the day.
