Hello,

So, as mentioned in previouse posts I'm new to the domain game,

I have registered a name,

I have parked it, registered on sedo and have click advertising.

What ways can I drive traffic to my page and how do I get a new domain into the search engines?

What are your thoughts?

The address I registered is djgregjames\com

As it has my name in it I don't see any legal issues.

I also think it will be suited to google searches.

Parking pages are there to monetise natural traffic only - that is existing backlinks on a dropped domain or direct type-in traffic. It is against most parking companies terms to promote the pages, even links in signatures are not strictly permitted. Also, search engines know what parking pages are and you will struggle to get it to rank anywhere.

If you want traffic you need a proper website.

With your name in the domain I think it's best you just make your own site with it, you're going to find it very hard to make money out of that name by parking.
