Not really a fan of any domain with "online" in it so seeing it as an extension gives me the same thoughts.

No doubt there will be some good sales though.

Seems a bit redundant, if it's a domain of course it's online

Suppose there are enough companies called "something online" though

I got murrayonline co uk last year in case I ever want to do something with it

The adverts i've seen for it are all buycoffee.online or bet.online. Nothing really that appealing.

I think its one of those terms that worked in 2000, but now is just part of expectations. Bit like .website

I thought I'd give it a go.

Revise.online
Revision.online
Doctorate.online

Then Chinese are buying up most of the nnn

The trouble with the generic non-niche tlds is there are so many now. .info, .biz, .web, .website, .online, .company to name but a few.......... With so many alternatives available to a prospective buyer I can't imagine any will ever have much resale value, and they are all second rate compared to .com anyway.

I just looked, murray.online in apparently "premium" and has a £7000-8000 a year renewal fee depending on the registrar.. riiiight.

Good luck with that .online

I picked up a local geo figured it could make a good name for a local web design company

I guess its great if you like adding junky retarded extensions to your portfolio.

Where do you buy them for £10?

I think godaddy are doing them for £9.99 if i remember correctly. I havnt bought any just remember seeing something when i logged in yesterday

Where do you buy them for £10?

The dreaded 1and1 are doing them for 6.99 + vat (first year)

And to be fair I've had no problems at all with them for newtlds they even nabbed me some .wales that other registrars failed at

I grabbed the following:

Gcse.online
Gcses.online

Namecheap.com does them for £6.41 with free privacy
