Does anyone know how to unblock myself from "login lockdown"?

I; in a moment of madness set it to lock out for 1000 hours on the first wrong attempt; then put the wrong password in and locked myself out

Can I change it via cPanel?

Any ideas, thanks.
Rob

Depending on the plugin used, normally the bad ip (yours) will be listed in the htaccess file. just go in via cpanel and remove your ip address

Cheers Lee

I think I can delete the plugin then reinstall it - oh joy!!

If you have mySQL access, it stores all the banned IPs in the database. Just delete the record for your IP address.

If ever you have trouble with a WP plugin, just rename the whole plugin folder via ftp and log in. All the plugins will be there but disabled ;-)

You can then rename it back and do what you need to do.
