Pancakes

It must've been american I cooked, just had two and I can't move

Fluffy & Light Pancakes

2 1/4 cups Self-Rising Flour
1/4 c melted butter or margarine
2 tsp. sugar
2 cups milk
2 eggs, separated

American diners are the best.
I walk less than 5 minutes to get pancakes, an omlette, home fries (shredded potato and fried) toast, orange juice, unlimited coffee all for $7 (£3.50)
Downside is no beans

The closest thing in The UK are Tesco's breakfasts. Sainsbury's and ASDA have some pretty good breakfasts too. You get 11 things (beans, toast, eggs...) for about 3 quid.

I cooked some frozen runners, peas and carrots with leeks and tats left over from xmas yesterday morning, served with butter and made shortbread from flour, sugar and butter that was leftover from pancakes. I wont half be glad to hear from the letting agent, I want to buy some food. :mrgreen:

try, 2 chicken stock cubes,1 onion 2 carrots 1/2 cup rice, 3 pints water, quick chicken soup and filling with fresh bread....my wife says its useless [ her proper soup is great ] but handy as quick standby if no wife handy....z
