Wanted: Domain Appraisal Patter

My first catch: Patter.co.uk

Can anybody help to value this? I was thinking it could make quite a good site for baby products.

I would appreciate any comments.

If I was selling to an end user, I would be looking for a respective chunk of the product's marketing budget - say £2-3000

If I could be bothered developing it I would put a wiki for patter and localised sayings - a bit like urban dictionary, hey presto USG! Might be a bit of a problem to maintain spam though.

Then sell mechandise like mugs and stuff off the back of it - as I do not rely on adsense or the like to monetise USG unless it is financially slanted.

Thanks Harwood. I like you idea for development, I hadn't thought of it from that angle.
I don't think I want to develop it though.... Ideally find an end user to sell on to. I imagine that's easier said than done though.

Also might be good for a sales training site, as in sales patter.

It's a good example of a brandable domain. Valuation is really decided by what it makes sense for you to sell it at. You can either hold and hope for an offer, or you can actively market it, but with a brandable, potential buyers aren't obvious.

Sales training is another great idea and definitely an avenue worth exploring.

Usually I go for domains that are a bit more obvious so this is a challenge.

Perhaps a baby forum? Patter as in a place to chat and the pitter patter of feet....a difficult market though.
