do a search for petrol prices over at https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and see the monthly search numbers. Not shabby. So make a mini site, include ads for car loans and cheaper insurance, grab emails for updates etc etc

That's what it used to get for ppc until petrolprices.com turned off the ads to that domain, which is no doubt why the person sold it, I'm sure quoting old figures.

I bet the new owners get nothing like that a month now.

It will still make money but probably not to the same degree. A drop off in the CTR.

Well their are other kinds of fuels besides petrol so I reg'd LowCostFuel co uk this then cover Diesel, LPG, Petrol, Biofuel, Butane etc....
