I spent most of today trying various perl PGP modules but I couldn't get anything to work 100% with my nominet key

so I gave up and tried 3 command line versions of PGP 2 of which I couldn't work but eventually got GNUPG working

what a mare, writing the rest of the script is going to be the easy part
