Phone Unlocking

I need a phone unlocked, does anyone run a website doing this or perhaps can recommend a site to visit?

I run an unlocking site but I don't unlock LG's I'm afriad.
I have worked with UnlockItNow.com in the past and they are very friendly and i have always found them trustworthy: http://www.unlockitnow.com/remote/unlock/by_operator/unlock.php?mybrand=LG&phone=Chocolate

If I were to recommend anyone I would choose them, however this is not an endorsement it is always best to research you own contact.

However I will also stay well clear of any site offering a code for less than £9.99 as it would be a fair bet that they can't unlock it. However if in doubt ALWAYS check their terms and conditions before parting with any cash. I would also recommend dropping them a message via their contact us feature to see if they reply.

http://www.trycktill.com/eng/unlock_swe.asp is the one I have always used. Not sure if they do the LG one on there. Could also try reading http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=558853.

Trycktill doesn't unlock newer LG's. He only provided free codes that are from online calculators. Paid for services for newer handsets require access to a server that holds the IMEI number within it's database and calculates a code manually.

Might be easier going to local market and seeing if they can unlock it but I wouldn't count on them having a manual solution.

I found this on a uk forum:

To Unlock KG800/LG Chocolate
1. Insert sim from the network that it is locked to.
2. Turn on phone
3. On home Screen, Slide up phone
4. Type 2945#*#
5. ENG. Mode menu should appear
6. Go Down to Factory Reset Select it, may take a few minutes to reset!!!!!
7. This will reset the phone back to before the Phone was locked to a network
8. The phone will automaticaly Restart(Note The Network Logo At start up will not change)
9. Now insert Any simcard(Not tested with 3 sims)and the phone should turn on normaly
10. The phone is now unlocked and you can customise the setting as you like.

People seemed to have to tried it and it worked.

Dead easy to do. Wont remove the network logo but will unlock in 10 seconds.

No, this will just unlock the phone to any network. Not got the gear to flash the LG phones.

None of the flashing software I have affects the IMEI, so is ok.

Does anyone know if theres any white label unlocking sites around?

I have a couple of 'phone unlocking' domain names that get around 1000 hits per month

I don't know of any specific white label unlocking schemes (there are a few mobile phone contract schemes) but if you want a a good rate on a reseller scheme, then drom me a PM.
