Hello All,

Would you please review my site? I'm looking for any feedback, as well as an appraisal of what it's worth.

The site is at www.TheSaleList.com, or www.TheSaleList.co.uk (forwards to the same site).

It's the world’s first, multi-store advertising forum where stores can post their sales quickly and easily for shoppers to see.

Like Craigslist, but currently aimed at listings for Sale Promotions, The Sale List provides an easily accessible forum for stores to inform shoppers of upcoming sales, and for shoppers to find them.

The admin can add whatever cities/countries (UK, US, France, doesn't matter) they choose for users to search and stores to promote (though currently I'm only displaying a few US cities on the list).

The admin can also modify/add/subtract the sale categories at will. So the list can actually double as a sale promotion site and as a pure classified ad site.

The site derives revenue from banner ads that businesses buy, as well as from an ad placer like Adsense.

Finally, the site is well-defended, as TheSaleList.com/.net/.org/.co.uk, and TheSellList.com/.net/.co.uk all forward to the site.

Thanks a lot for your insight and appraisal.

Good concept. Looks OK.

I'd beef up the logo slightly and lose the thin black outline and drop shadow. Those are pretty tired type treatments, plus the black outline is on the inside of the letters, not the outside, so it's eating into the letterforms, which is just bad typography. Make it a bolder pink and fatten the letters slightly. Then just leave it nice and clean on the white background.

I'd kill "Welcome to" and just leave it as "The Sale List"... "where...".

As far as the valuation goes... hard to say. Like I said, good concept. See how your numbers are in a few months, if you've got advertisers, and it may be worth a nice figure.
