Plurals

I personally always go plural as i think the type in would be. In terms of value, I really dont think theres that much between them. Some prefer singular, some plural. It's a matter of taste.
If I wanted a domain for pure value purposes, I'd opt for book.co.uk, yet if i was looking to build online, i'd go for books.co.uk
Confused? I am.

Right ok what about estibot is that reliable as an indicator of price i found a site on there a .com that is available with an alexa ranking of 52000 it is estimating it at 16,000$

Absolutely not. The only reliable price indicator is human. Alexa rank means little also. All IMHO.

I used to always prefer plurals over singular but the sport .co.uk sale sort of changed my view on singulars...

Loans .co.uk
Mobiles .co.uk
Books .co.uk
-----------------
Loan .co.uk
Mobile .co.uk
Book .co.uk

If you asked me which out of the two lists above I like to have the first list becuase I think the plural works better than the singular for product related.

But sport .co.uk I now like as much .v:p

my view is if they are BOTH available then get them both, if not, it's just a matter of whether the keyword is strong enough and whether it makes sense.

So as Julian says, those plurals are stronger, but you would be mad to ignore the singulars if they became available!

A generic such as "alloywheels" is better in plural, but something like "development" is probably better as a singular.

Nouns are almost always better in plural... (Books, Clothes, Dresses, DVDs) -- purely because of the pyschological factor of more choice will give the impression that it is 'better'... Would you want the choice of one book or many?
