I was keeping an eye on this thread but couldn't justify spending that much on the domains, (I checked on google and there were no advertisers so google adsense wouldn't have been a good option)

Ideas...

Had some good chats with Azooza, prior to deciding to sell these...

He had some interesting ideas for monetising these. Can't remember off the top of my head, but the gist was to run competitions, and allow users to get winning poems published online etc. A completely legit version of the scams that used to be around...

An alternative may be a more social site, with registered users uploading poetry and self moderating and rating it etc. Most popular poem wins the week's prize etc...


The Poet.co.uk site could be forums etc for poets, linking into and promoting the other sites...
