If you buy something from amazon.co.uk is it always posted from Europe?

Reason why I'm asking is because I'm buying something that's really hard to find in Europe but I found it on amazon.co.uk, and I need to receive it within 1 week!

depends whether it's from amazon direct or an amazon seller - in which case it will depend where they are based?

Easiest way is add to basket and start to checkout and see the delivery options. next day is usually an option.

HOWEVER, I've always found amazon to be a bit quick at confirming the order (fewer steps than I expect) so be careful to don't actually place the order unless ready to.

Unfortunately next day isn't an option here (might be because I'm in Ireland though).

And yeah amazon is a bit quick to confirm an order!

I've already bought the item (a t shirt!) from a small US website but I'm nearly certain it won't come in time.

Hey Jamie101, if the item hasn't shipped, you can easily cancel the order at Amazon with no penalty. As others here, I've been stuck orders I placed "accidentally", but cancelling them is very easy too.

Yeah that's good I suppose, thanks.

Anyway, got it in the end and paid for 1st class postage from the US. Will wait and see if it comes in time
