Hello all,

I'm doing a presentation early next year and I'd like to present this using a different method for a change. Rather than the predictable flip-chart, overhead, power point etc, etc.

I want to go for a different and interesting approach (e.g. using a fictitious web site to underpin the presentation, using animation/maps, etc, etc).

Has anyone used any different/innovative ways to successfully manage their presentation? :)

I've seen the web site type done on the TV a few times, always looked good to me, but the audience always focused on it and not the actual pitch. People ended up tearing their hair out answering irrelevant questions about the presentation and not the pitch.

Ooh and remember your 'Pitch' is not your presentation, and if you do not know the decision makers learning style, multiple mediums within your presentation required :D

If you have a hand out for the end of the presentation, make sure you give it out at the beginning ;)

I did something similar, very successfully, a year ago.

Instead of using the site to focus, I made bound handouts for 80 people to follow - using screenshots from a fictitious site we actually built.

On the final page was the URL of the site to see if they would visit. Over 7 days we had over 200 uniques with most looking over the entire site.

Oh, and we also got the outcome we wanted.
