Has anyone had any problem transferring in .co.uk's to 123-reg.co.uk recently?

Everything looks okay for the domain I have transferred in (e.g. mydomain.co.uk), the nameservers are 123-reg's, and I am trying to use their forwarding, but presently the domain just points to:

Domain name registration & web hosting from 123-reg

I have sent a query to their support but if anyone can tell me what is going on in the meantime that would be useful.

Thanks

Thanks Lee, I've tried that, but no joy. Has anyone else had this type of a problem?

It looks like a DNS problem to me. I have e-mailed support twice but no response as yet hours later. I don't think it is something I can fix in the control panel unless I am missing something.

123reg

123reg domain redirection has now been stuck for over 48 hours..no answer to any emails, have domains stuck in wrong place..service is a farce, maybe expecting to make money of phone calls..z

Thanks for your feedback Zee. I don't know what is going on but I hope they get it together soon. If anyone from 123-reg is reading this can you explain?

Is there some special reason that you needed this domain to be at 123reg? I assume you've read the 123 reg posts over the past few months - Just wondering why you would move a domain there knowing full well that their system appears to be screwed??

I had seen some 123reg threads in passing but thought the problems were mostly related to .eu. That will teach me for not keeping up with my acorndomains reading. Now I have first hand experience that there are big problems I shall be looking at alternative companies.

forwarding with 123-reg is a hit and miss affair. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. This has been going on for a few months now. You can wait weeks and nothing will happen and yet try another name and it forwards instantly! They really have gone downhill though of late.
