Anyone here subscribe to PRSS..

Nominet says subscribers can download a weekly copy of the register database for the purposes of domain name watching and searching..

Yet other sources say its a web based search facility using DAC??

any feedback would be useful..

You can download search results to csv, but not the whole db.

They charge during beta, but the subscription start date will be reset for all beta subscribers when the PRSS goes live.

i think my £400 could be better spent elsewhere :-)

I think the register download facility related to the old old version of the PRSS that was suspended many moons ago, and is now replaced by the current system.

IMO the PRSS is a great "tool" for drop catchers although I've never actually used it. £400 is a bit harsh - but then again it could quickly pay for itself.

PRSS is useful to track catches and transfers. It can assist dropcatchers but it's just an additional source of information for those who are already well informed. Anyone thinking it is a magic tool to make life easy for list building would be disappointed.

In an Arsene/Mourinho kind of way.

If you are a bit too obsessed with your neighbor, there is no better way to satisfy unhealthy "voyeur" tendencies.:)
