Question about domain name similaritys

Hi all im new to buying domains and have just bought one that I want to develop into a website but im a little confused about something, now the domain name is a .com domain and consists of 2 words at only 12 letters long
now the question is this and names given are examples only......... say if I bought a website domain called say for instance musicstation.com and im ready to build my website but on closer inspection of typing the 2 words in google together I find someone has got the following domain name for there website stationmusic.com now is this a problem if both of the companys are involved in music (obviously) for example?

I don't think that there is a problem with this. Some companies have a very little difference like an "s." The only problem that could happen is a confusion on the web-visitors' part. Also, I think a domain with 12 letters is probably too long.
