Hello,
Just wanted to follow up my previous query and ask:

Is there some sort of holding period between when you buy a domain and when you can list it for sale? I thought I read someplace it can't be transferred before 60 days (perhaps these are just .com's).

Also, if anyone here specializes in flipping domain names could you please list the best places to post one's domain names (besides the obvious like Sedo, Afternic, etc.) as well as tips?

Cheers.

I think that the 60 day period is when you first register a .com

You can't transfer it until 60 days after a new registrant - but maybe someone else can confirm this.

Not the same for .co.uk's

gtlds cannot be transfered to a new registrar within 60 days of registration. however you can change registrant details. which means you can sell the domain within the 60 day period.
