That would depend on the information our advertising provider makes available to its advertisers, which I'm not privy to, unfortunately. Any one here run ads for their developed websites and could provide some insight on this?

If i'm understanding you for example... take adsense for example. You have to 'include' a .js file as part of the adsense code, and thus, once its been downloaded from google, the referrer shows up as the page that has the code - domain.com etc
