OK everyone, I'm confused!!???

How the hell can netpropertyprices.co.uk get 250+ unique visits in 12 days? without any promotion whatsoever.

I need some serious help and good advise right now.

The words "net property & prices" get nothing on overture.

Any advise right now will be very much appreciated before I waste anymore of my hard earned on regging more duffers

Searches done in September 2005
Count Search Term
5 netpropertyprices.co.uk

Also as a rule, i'd never consider Sedo stats when purchasing a domain to buy, whilst it is a good indicator of traffic, it does not provide you with refer stats.

Lex has no way of telling if this domain has received "Type-in's", it could be Link pop or even some kind of advertising previously used.

I could take sdfjsbdgfkbsdifs.co.uk and make it look like it's received 1000 views a month at sedo, just by visiting the page myself.

This domain does have Overture w/ext though, so probably explains the traffic :)

Hi J2

Yep, I've just seen that

netpropertyprices - all one word gets 17
netpropertyprices.co.uk gets 5
net, property & price gets 84 - the equivelent of nothing let's face it for the whole month of September

But 274 type ins in 12 days???

that's an amazing return or am I missing something

Overture should never be considered the deciding factor on traffic, it's a good factor that there *could* be some traffic but the correlation between overture number and traffic can be way off a lot of the time.

I have domains with overture scores of 100+, they have steady traffic and make less than $1 a day...I registered a domain last week with an overture of 13, it gets 50-100 uniques a day and makes over $3 a day...strange :)

It looks like a brilliant domain Lex

How much is it making?

No promotion whatsoever - Good name eh!!

Any Value - And don't bloody tell me reg. fee lol!!!

Both the .co.uk and .com receive 4500+ type-ins per annum...what does this mean for it's value???

How much revenue is it making?, then I can tell you a rough price based on this information.

Value depends on how much it's making

When I do a google for net property prices, most of the time the net stands for internet and is dropped.

5000 type-ins is miles better than anything I've got.....

Take a look at cannabis.co.uk - one of the most valuable names ont'net and it gets less traffic than netpropertyprices.co.uk

The .coms up for sale for $1600000!!! - that's a million quid almost

I am truly amazed and maybe at little more suspicious.

I saw miceals.com for sale on DNForum.com last week and it gets an overture, what the hell is miceals??? my guess is someone is bumping up their sedos one month then waiting for some wet behind the ears domainer to come along the next month.

So how many click thru's/

lex007

the domain is recieving traffic from confused surfers

This name is ONLY typo popular because of a another well known website.

I dont think you would achieve a 4 figure sale price (at all) to be honest.
Low hundreds is your best bet.

Its not as if it generic. Surfers know what website they are looking for. Only a small % will click on ads because most will leave straight away.

Kind Regards

Ah someone who can shed some light on all this - so it's a typo is it?

what is the original domain, if you don't mind me asking?
