Just out of interest, what is the value generally for letter hyphen letter domains? I saw k-k dropping the other day but I didn't bother catching it because it reminded me of the triple k.. not good lol.

Not much I'd say - max. £100 ish perhaps around these parts?

Just I was looking at what's already registered and trying to come up with the worst combination of two letters I could think of, everything was already registered so I thought there might be some value.

I guess if there was an especially good combination they would be ok, like a-z.co.uk is not bad.

I have a few listed at sedo and in 7 years never had a single bid!
Sold a couple on acorn for £100 ish.

Just depends on getting lucky with the right end user.

Doesn't mean its big money just Gotta be up with the top l-l co.uk do you no of many higher? actual sales that is ? seams high for the fact its random letters and a hyphen ?

It doesn't matter to me. The buyer deemed its worth by offering that amount.

Others don't have to "judge" under or over value to themselves as each buyers resources and desires are different.

Totally agree end users can see something no one else does ( although doesn’t mean it will make them anything or ever re sell at that price either but guess they don't care ? ) That’s why in general domains are so hard to value.. Its just not one many would look down a list and say that’s worth a few k thats the joy of names I guess you never no when...

It's clear why the buyer has bought the hyphenated version if you check the WHOIS:

http://www.nominet.org.uk/whois/lookup?query=r-m.co.uk

In this case the non-hyphenated version would not be appropriate for them?
