I dont understand why the reward is so low so this man. they should say £1 mill for an arrest, considering all of the police time this guy is using up I am sure it would be a fair deal :)

I've skimmed through this, but I'll say what I thought before I read it:

1. Send in the armed forces; i.e. the SAS/SBS

2. The reward is daft. I'd be happy to add £10k to it.

3. Have some respect and don't make jokes.

Dale and Edwin >

Any jokes I have made have been taking the p*ss out of the gunman and the way the police our faffing about and not the actual situation itself.

Sorry if I caused offence :-|

DooB, no offence taken at all. It's a little sensitive to me as I lived in Hexham as a service kiddie (RAF Ouston) and my Mum's not exactly enamoured with Mr. Moat.

I live in the North East and heard a farmer in the area of Rothbury (many farmers etc) who was moaning on because nobody had rang him to tell him to be observant. What an idiot, does he need somebody to tell him to breath?

He also moaned about the amount of police officers looking for one man.

What people fail to forget is he has already killed 1 person and attempted to kill 2 others including a police officer and a female.

Have people total forgot about the Cumbria shootings where 12 people were left dead, by one male with a couple of weapons.

The police have my full support and I wish them well.

If anybody has any knowledge of the ground round there, with a person who is known to the area and used to camp out there you will understand how it could take so long.

The good news is he'll be getting hungry and will have to take risks...

I heard on the news more people have been arrested and at least 3 mobile phones found that were been used by him.

What the police need to remind people is assisting a fugitive is a serious offence and they will be joining him in jail. Maybe not immediately but as the investigation continues, the police will know where he got his phones from and who helped him!

I love it, just been interviewing one old girl on sky news,

Q: What do think of the man running round the village with a weapon?

A: What we are annoyed with is the press taking up the car parking spaces in the village centre, there is a perfectly large car park over there.

hahaha, only in Britain.

It probably won't be the SAS or SBS, it will be the ML's (Mountain leaders) from the Royal Marines, they are special forces although not always seen as SF. But as for tracking and living up in the hills, they are out of this world. You know they are bad asses when the other Marines hear their names and just shake their heads.

I'm away for the weekend on a training ex guys, when I come back and post a thread wanting 10k names, you'll know why
