Hi Chaps,

Might be one best suited for the longer term members, but here goes.

What we need is as complete a list as possible of any domain name(s) you may have been watching, which then appear to have been claimed by former directors or employees for themselves. Any domains of this nature, then PM would be appreciated.

Regards,

Tony.

Be careful what you ask for there Anthony - providing a former Director can show (prove)registration and renewal payments made personally and comply with Nominets indemnity requirements (as in all transfers) there is no question about transfer of ownership.

It's a shame I was so personally attacked shortly after the sudden death of my wife (and co-director) AND I am still very bitter about the loops and hoops I had to jump through - losing a few domains in the process. all because somebody took it upon themselves to be so bloody self righteous (and wrong) about compliance.

Then on the plus side you get the people at Companies house and Nominet that go out of their way to do the correct thing by the correct processes - I'm not presupposing thats your motivation in anyway but, nothing worse than working with half the facts

You're right, hunting down domains isn't my motivation, the information is needed for research only reasons. So, keep PM'ing those lists, thanks.

I do apologise - and i've just realised I had this rant just a week ago

I think it's a great thing your doing. Lots of directors do it legally but lots do it against the rules. And it's the companies they owe who shoul get the money not the domainer after a quick flip from some no good business person.

Ooh are you going to name and shame the members of acorn who encourage them to break the rules?
