A few sales.

All from in bound offers for reg-fee domains bought in the last few months, and paid direct straight off the bat using PayPal button on domain landing page.

mortgage-services/co/uk - £95 PayPal landing page

tauntonaccountants/co/uk - £95 PayPal landing page

electric-city/co/uk - 1700.00 euros Escrow (win some lose some)

A good few hundred saved in commission that would have been paid out if I was using other well known parking companies.. end users don't care or know about marketplaces... only domainers..

I didn't realise there was a marketplace aspect, I thought it was just individual landing pages.

I just checked it out and ordering by price seems faulty, ordering from highest to lowest shows in the order £999, £995, £99, £9500, £950, £95 etc

It makes no difference if end users don't care/know about market places. If you have nameservers set and someone visits your domain, whether you have your own parked page or if it's on Sedo etc, then it doesn't matter what end users know about market places, because they're on your sales page.

Personally, I wouldn't sell any domains with a PayPal button, not unless it was something like £50, but wouldn't entertain it on higher £xxx - £x,xxx sales, always a chance you can get knocked and lose the money and the domain. I prefer to pay commission and know the likes of Sedo take control of the funds and pay me after transfer.

Yes exactly, but firstly you have to have some nameservers, and I think it does matter if it's SEDO, why would I want to pay a commission when I have to do the transfer work, and one can do it quicker without waiting for the middle man. I find one to one much easier, but I guess some people may have trouble negotiating if they're not used to sales.

..a dozen or so sales a month at £50 - £95 is nothing to be sniffed at for some people..

..fair enough, maybe you don't like seeing £500+ PayPal emails in your inbox and all thats left to do is the transfer.

I have just this second received £100 through paypal on a buy now name with domainmanage

Another domain sold for £100 via the buy now button, to be fair i did email quite a lot of end users pointing them to the name yesterday.
