Refeerals from spammy sites?!

Guy's, just checking my sites stats and one domain I have had loads of spammy sites listed in "Links from an external page". What's going on? Why have they added me to their spam site? I have checked their sites and I don't seem to be listed now.

Not sure on their end game plan, but I am sure the fact that you and many others in teh sam eposition 'checked their site' will have done their traffic stats no harm and Alexa, they may need that inflated data for something.
