Register the .uk AFTER a sale?

Would you register the .uk version of a domain you’ve just sold?

I just sold 2 domains for £1k to an e-commerce company retailing physical products - neither of the .uk’s are registered…

Clearly they haven’t thought about it / don’t want them.

their purchase has demonstrated demand, but I’ve had the names for several years, without receiving any offers - so I’m thinking if I didn’t see value in registering the pairs before, why should I now change my mind now?

without checking the figures, I imagine my meagre portfolio of 200 odd names, probably only just about makes £1-2k a year on cost of renewals vs sale income averaged over the last few years - so it’s key for me to keep the fixed overhead low, for this to be a viable ‘investment’ rather than pure speculation, hoping for a ‘big win’ one day :)

would be interested to hear others thoughts…
