registering .de domains

I have my eye on a few .de domains that are free to reg.
Does anyone know how to reg them as I believe the admin contact has to be resident in Germany. Ive just looked at denic.de and its still the case.

Thoughts appreciated.

I think domaindiscount24 provide a service for this. I'm surprised EU rules allow them to still insist on this clause I know the French recently relaxed similar laws

I tried safenames and their charge was £99 per year!!
The condition is not made by denic.de but its german law apparently.

Not really fair given the whole eu thing but best Ive found is inwx.com at 2.98Euro pa. for local contact which is fair.
