Registration status

Hi,

I'm new here and I'd like to ask why the registration status is still "Registration request being processed.". Is this mean the domain is still not mine? Just today I can see it now in my domain list at namecheap. BTW, the domain extension is .org.uk. Can someone explain what to expect when registering .org.uk domain?

Just means that the invoice has not been paid yet, or nominet have not invoiced the registrar. Registrars pay in batches when invoiced at the start of the month for the previous month.

See, registrars get to play with your money for a few weeks... for the biggies this may be a few 10's of thousands...

Actually it is already 6 days that is why I asked.
Is it means no one can register it or steal?

It could be upto 30days, which is the credit terms for Nominet invoices. So long as the whois is in your name/details and the renewal date is xxx-2010 then don't worry. Just check up once in a while...
