Reliability of Majestic SEO numbers

I have just got a site that produces some big numbers on Majestic SEO.

I got it cheap so not worried about the risk too much but how much can you trust the numbers on this site?

I mean is this good...

Depends, is it an aged domain with old back links, or is it a newish domain with shed loads of links that are mostly spammy links?

Knowing the domain would be easier to check.

It might have 11,000 referring domains, but if they're all spam it would be better off having none.

What kind of sites are linking to it is the important thing?.
