Safest Way To Sell A Domain

What is the safest way (financially) to sell a domain, i reg'd it with 123-reg.co.uk and is there a min time i must hold the domain before re-selling??

The reason is i reg'd a .co.uk domain this morning and some1 has offered £110 for it so am wanting to sell it. but im not sure how to transfer it without getting ripped off and the domain stolen or not being payed

is it true that i dont need any forms to transfer a domain from 123-reg to another provider??? do i get the money of the buyer 1st then change the IPS tag and im done??? im confused lol

1) They send you money
2) You fill in your part of transfer forms etc
3) you send forms to them
4) they complete forms
5) they send forms to nominet
6) Nominet do transfer
7) You change IPS Tag

does this apply to 123-reg.co.uk??? as i heard you dont need forms just change ips tag and your done within 4 hours

you can push domains from user to user,

but the "registrant" needs to be changed (you'll have to contact and pay
nominet for that)

You should check the Terms of 123 Reg, I think you will find that you cannot move a domain to another Tag until 2 months after registration.
