You would of thought huts & confidential might have gone for more.

Confidential.co.uk actually sold for £3,000 and not £2,830

I did offer it here for £4,000 a while back after receiving the initial £3,000 offer too http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/domain-name-offers-invited/135527-confidential.html

The sale / negotiating dragged on for a couple of months via Sedo as I was chasing £5k for the pair of names eg £5k for confidential.co.uk with confidential.uk included too (which kind of proved detrimental to me, as it was used against me as a reverse negotiating tactic) as the buyer was only interested in the .co.uk, so we agreed and he took the .co.uk for £3k

If anyone is interested in Confidential.uk before I offer it for sale, then please let me know :)

Sorry for the error, I must have made a mistake when converting the price from US$ to UK£. The price was originally only listed in US$. I have adjusted the price for Confidential.co.uk.

I think someone got a bargain with huts.co.uk! What a nice name.

No worries at all, only mentioned it so the correct price was reflected :)

tennisrackets.co.uk + .uk went for only £268 back in April on DL... I had the .co.uk :( I thought at the time that was a particularly bad sale, congrats to whoever turned that over.

That's a nice amount for tectonics. I always have a look to see what the domains are now being used for, but most of the time it seems to be another reseller page.

Someone please explain what I am missing - I can't see any value in huts.co.uk, I wouldn't have it ftr even, your just being sineykal??

hut.co.uk yes, ok.. huts?

Makes me think of beach huts, holiday huts, you know the glamping type of thing

So huts works better than hut for that

What were you thinking of?

Interesting, I wouldn't reg {huts}.co.uk based on that. To me that's quite a tenuous link.. 'holiday huts'. I just think '{hut}'.co.uk its a better domain out right - it seems far more brandable and usable as a real world business name. Being involved in a tourism business I only occasionally hear 'Holiday lodges' or 'Shepherd Huts' but I don't hear the term 'holiday huts' in 15 years even here there are ads but no one using the phrase in title even. Then again there is lodges.co.uk so maybe they could make use of huts for beach huts.
