Saving images in Illustrator

Whats the best way to save and crop an image designed in Illustrator. I'm exporting them but they are really grainy.

Any ideas?

If you don't have Illustrator, maybe try a free trial of it, so you can alter the image natively within Illustrator.

Otherwise, I often find myself resorting to taking a screen print of what I need and then Photoshop it.
