I was just reading this story about a major fine imposed on a "scareware" software company:

Although I don't "fix computers" for a living I have spent many many hours removing this kind of parasite software from friends computers, particularly machines belonging to older people who are more easily tricked by the fake infection messages.
Its a small piece of good news to see these people nailed.
