Has anybody had any communication with Sedo what they are going to allow / offer on the sale of .uk and .co.uk pairings and just .uk on its own?

Will it be adjusting its interface to allow for paired sales?

Will they allow you to offer the .uk if you have the rights to the .uk but have not paid the £5 registration fee?

Doubt they will do any of it, minimum effort for maximum profits,

Terrible company imo.

.. and the same for domainlore..... will they be selling 'pairs'?

Most will treat them as totally separate, like .co.uk vs .org.uk altho on Sedo you can use the info box to state you are including the .uk or not ?

My guess most will not pair them.

How would the absence of the rights to .uk effect the co.uk value ?

Since I've already had someone asking to buy just the .uk, and offered 20% of my .co.uk asking price, I'll say 20% as its an actual offer. :p

It now says this on the DomainLore home page:

With the .uk launch on 10th of June, all .co.uk auctions ending on or after 10-06-2014 are to be sold with the right of .uk registration (or together with .uk domain if such right was already exercised) unless explicitly stated otherwise by the seller on the auction page.

It now says this on the DomainLore home page:

That's a nice little improvement. Hopefully Denys will come up with a big bold red warning graphic that shows up against listings where the seller has explicitly declared they will NOT be bundling the .uk/rights to the .uk with the domain in question.

In fact it would be good to see some kind of radio button selector added to the listing process, something like the below:

This domain:
A) Will be sold with the .uk as a pair - final bid price buys both domains
B) Will be sold with the right to the .uk, unexercised (it is up to the purchaser to decide whether to register the .uk or not)
C) Has the right to the .uk, but that right will be exercised by the seller before this domain is transferred (triggers the WARNING)
D) Will be sold as-is, but the seller will retain the matching .uk (triggers the WARNING)
E) Not applicable: this domain never had the right to the .uk
